Model United Nations simulations engage hundreds of thousands of students worldwide each year. The UN General Assembly adopted Resolution 77/336, officially recognizing the educational value of MUN in promoting understanding of the United Nations and international cooperation.
Simulating the United Nations
Model United Nations (MUN) is an educational simulation where students role-play as delegates of different countries, debating real-world issues within the framework of UN committees. Participants research their assigned countries, draft resolutions, negotiate with allies, and resolve conflicts — all while developing critical skills for the 21st century.
Baku Caucasus MUN brings this tradition to the crossroads of Europe and Asia, offering a unique cultural and diplomatic experience in one of the world's most dynamic cities.
